How is your internship going? Are you enjoying the work that you are given? Are you encountering any difficulties?

Chris W:

My internship is fantastic. The project I just completed came out great. I am very proud of my work and happy to complete them on time and in a professional manner. There have been no real difficulties and deadlines are not an issue.

Lena:

My internship is going very well. Each day I have a set number of assignments I am working on that are mostly generated by my own research and through work with my supervisor. Because I write and report local news, I am able to follow many leads and stories that interest me. Deadlines vary based on the subject. Sometimes when I am working on a story that will cover an event that is taking place I need to rush my work. But when I am writing feature stories, I have a lot of time to play with. I am truly enjoying a lot of the work I have because it is fresh, exciting, and different every day. There is a lot to look forward to when I come in each day. The only difficulties I have are balancing the workload. Because I work full time I take on a lot of projects at once. It is sometimes difficult to complete everything in a timely matter. Otherwise, my assignments have been fun and informative.

Chris F:

My internship is going very well. I enjoy some of the work that I am doing, but not all of it. The only difficulties that I am running into are that sometimes I'll get work from corporate clients and I will not understand some of the corporate terms and things of that nature. I find that people expect a lot of me, but I take it as a good thing that they have the confidence in me to do the work.
